Since antiquity, the two historical nations of Iran and India have had many things in common in terms of culture and language in particular during the reign of Akbar Shah and Aurangzeb. The propagation of the eloquent Persian language in the subcontinent of India in that period as well as consecutive journeys made by the Persian literates and historians to that land all, reveal to the great extent that Indian tradition in the eyes of Persians has had a mysterious attraction.
In this article, attempt is made to point out clearly the influence of those historical traditions of the people in the subcontinent of India on the contemporary Persian history and literature.
